I actually like the current mix - although more frequent posts would also be nice. ;)

It does seem that the mix is enjoyed by most.
I’m sure many would like to see more posts also. But time is not always that easy to find.

Yeah, it’d be wonderful if we all had more time, wouldn’t it. *wry*

I can’t offer to sponsor, sadly - but I can help with proofreading if you do decide to either combine posts into a book, or write your own. Would it be worth doing an outline for a book, and possibly write future posts to give you the content you want? Or are you already doing that and I’m teaching you to suck eggs? ;)

There is no real method to how I write. I generally come up with ideas then start writing. So I have about 6 or so posts on the go at any one time.

Heh. It is possible to get grants to live on while you write, you know…

No, there’s at least one foundation in Aus that gives grants out to authors. I’ll have a hunt tonight and see what I can find.

As a complete aside, there’s a typo in your post title - should be ‘What kind OF posts’, not ‘What kind YOU posts’.

Ok. Here’s an article from the Age about getting grants. Here is a US site that says it has a comprehensive database of grants, and here is the Australia Council’s section on grants.

Hopefully you’ll soon be blogging about the strangeness of being paid to write!
